Terms and Conditions
1. The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission. Account No. 4947. www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk. £5 per entry. - 2. Entrants understand that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram.
- 3. By entering this raffle, you agree to a complete release of Facebook and Instagram from connection with this raffle.
- 4. Your purchase of The Great Glasgow Gastronomic Giveaway Raffle entries is from The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice (“The Promoter”), solely in accordance with the terms under which the Charity from time to time promotes its lotteries.
- 5. All proceeds from the Lottery go to The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. (Registered office address: 20 Dumbreck Road, Glasgow, G41 5BW).
- 6. You represent and agree that;
- a) You are 18 years of age or over
- b) You are a resident of Great Britain or Northern Ireland
- c) You will not buy or purport to buy an entry to this lottery on behalf of anybody under the age of 18
- d) You will provide accurate entry information, including your name, personal address, telephone number and email address and accept that it is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes as soon as they arise.
- 7. You agree that you shall not be entitled to receive any prize if you are unable to substantiate to the Promoter your representations under paragraphs 6 (a), (b) and (c) above.
- 8. You accept that The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission, under the Gambling Act 2005 and that in certain circumstances we may be unable to provide refunds or replacements once you have purchased your raffle entries.
- 9. The prize offered in this raffle is pair of tickets to The Honours Uncovered event on Saturday 28th January 2017. This prize includes a special behind the scenes lunch, hosted by the Michelin-starred chef Martin Wishart at his restaurant, The Honours at Malmaison Glasgow. The winner and their guest will be treated to a champagne and canapé reception, a wine tasting and a delicious three course menu with a cooking demonstration from Martin and his team. There are no alternatives to the prize and no interest is payable. Entrants will be notified as to any change in the prize structure.
- 10. The cost of each entry is £5 per play. Members may purchase more than one entry and payment must be made in advance by one of the methods permitted.
- 11. The Promoter may (without giving any reason or notice at its absolute discretion) decline to accept an application, cancel an existing subscription, or terminate or suspend The Great Glasgow Gastronomic Giveaway Raffle.
- 12. The Promoter will conduct The Great Glasgow Gastronomic Giveaway Raffle on behalf of Two Fat Ladies on 14/09/18. The draw will be made utilising a Random Number Generator (RNG) that has been tested and approved by an independent, Gambling Commission approved, third-party test house.
- 13. The winner will be advised by telephone on the 14/09/18, or shortly there after and the winning ticket number will be available via the Lottery Office from the following working day.
- 14. The raffle will close on 05/03/17 at 23:59
- 15. The winner must contact Two Fat Ladies to claim their prize.
- 16. No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication.
- 17. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay in bank payments.
- 18. This prize is non transferrable and holds no monetary value.
- 19. The Promoter operates a Complaints and Disputes Procedure.
- 20. - 21. The Promoter’s decisions made pursuant to the Rules shall, once made, be final and binding.
- 22. You must have a Glasgow postcode, which is where the dinner will be cooked and served.
- 23. Dinner will be for up to eight people only.
- 24. The menu will be chosen by Ryan James but can be circulated to the winner beforehand and the winner can choose from a meat, fish or vegetarian menu.
- 25. Entrants will be notified as to any change in the prize structure after the draw has taken place if appropriate.
